Privacy

Psychiatric treatment depends on privacy, and I take it seriously. I am a solo practitioner: no third party is given information about your treatment without your written consent, apart from the rare circumstances required by law.

If you wish to use out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company. It contains the diagnosis and billing codes required for reimbursement. If you choose not to submit it, no information about your treatment leaves my office.

If you have particular privacy concerns, please raise them. I am happy to discuss how to accommodate them.
