Whom I work with
Many of my patients are high-achieving and outwardly successful. Nonetheless, they may struggle with persistent self-criticism, low mood, or a constant need to prove themselves.
Others come with a specific concern, such as depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or adult ADHD, seeking thorough evaluation and carefully monitored treatment. In either case, my practice may be a good fit if you are looking for more than a brief medication visit: a psychiatrist who knows you well, has time to think carefully about your treatment, and can provide psychotherapy, medication management, or both.
The practice
I am a Columbia-trained psychiatrist providing psychotherapy and medication management for adults in New York. I maintain a small practice so that I can provide the necessary attention for each patient. Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, or both, sometimes alongside mindfulness practices and lifestyle changes.
In therapy, we will work together to deepen your understanding of yourself and your patterns to achieve meaningful change.
I conduct neuroscience research at Columbia University, studying the interactions between the brain and the body in anxiety and mood disorders. My background in neuroscience helps me shape a personalized treatment plan that incorporates the most current scientific evidence.
